To paint the chrome headlight frames, it is necessary to use a specific product: it is recommended to use PLASTI DIP. Rather than a real paint, it is a coating that creates a sort of rubber film. Then carefully clean the chromed frames, removing any residues that may be present. Cover the headlight glass with newspapers and apply others on the bodywork, all around the frame itself (it is not necessary to carefully wrap the bodywork, as the "paint" that will be deposited will be removed like a film). Begin painting the frames by alternately carrying out several coats and waiting for a light drying between one coat and the other. Once the frames have been perfectly colored, wait for them to dry completely and remove the newspapers. Finally, it will be possible to remove the part of the paint deposited on the bodywork as an adhesive film.
