How to reset the service indicator on a Mini Cooper R56

Model: Mini Mini R55, R57, R56 - Years 2007-2014
Part: Service warning light

In this video, we see how to reset the service light of a Mini Cooper R56: turn on the instrument panel and press the BC button repeatedly on the instrument panel, near the speedometer, until the service menu is accessed. At this point, hold it down for 5/10 seconds until the reset option appears. Confirm the operation by pressing the "BC" button again until the message "reset in progress" or "reset successfully" appears. Turn off the instrument panel and turn it back on to verify that the light has disappeared. On some versions, the button to press may be located under the speedometer, and then the procedure remains essentially the same.
