How to Remove the Door Panel on a Mini

Model: Mini Mini R56, R55, R57 - Years 2007-2014

Here’s how to remove the door panel (passenger side) of a Mini. First, use a spatula to pry around the trim of the door handle and remove the cover (colour matched) of the handle. Next, unscrew the screws located in the handle with a screwdriver; disconnect the light at the bottom of the door and use a plastic or metal lever to detach any wiring and securing clips (located around the perimeter). Once the panel is free from any clips, pull it away from the car door (trim frame).
