How to start your Mini without a key

In today's video we see how you can turn on the Mini without the key. This operation is useful for leaving the car temporarily on, even though you can get out by locking the car. First, let's get into the car and turn it on normally, that is by inserting the key in its housing and pressing the button. Then turn it off and remove the key. Now the car has memorized the device and therefore we can turn it on again without having to reposition it. We can then get out of the car, and close the doors. The car will therefore remain on normally until we turn it off.

First, remove the fork bolts using a ratchet spanner: then also remove the brake caliper.
