To independently replace the battery in your Mini Cooper F66 key, follow the steps outlined in this guide. First, purchase a new battery, which should be a CR2032, then take the car key and remove the back cover.

Once this simple operation is complete, also remove the rubber cap protecting the battery and replace it with the new one. Finally, all that’s left to do is reassemble both the small rubber cap and the back cover of the key, and the procedure is complete.
