Let's see in this short tutorial the steps to replace the battery of a Mini Cooper F56 remote control, produced from 2014 to 2022. The first step is to extract the physical key from the remote control by pressing the release button, then we insert a small flathead screwdriver to pry off the back cover and remove it. Now, with the help of the screwdriver, we remove the plastic piece where the physical key was housed, and once done, we can extract the remote control battery and replace it with a new one. The specific battery needed is the CR2035 3V battery.
