Let's discover together the main steps that will allow us to disassemble and replace the gear knob and gear shift boot of the Mini Cooper. First of all, we get inside the car and start by detaching and removing the gear shift boot. To do this, we unfasten the clamp located between the boot and the knob, using a flathead screwdriver or pliers, as shown in the video. At this point, we separate the boot from the knob, replacing the latter. We install our new knob on the gear lever, placing a clamp between it and the boot to secure everything on the gear lever!
