Today we will explain how to replace the gear knob of the Mini Cooper model R 56. To replace the knob, we need to grab the knob with one hand and with the other hand, lock the gear mechanism. Pull the knob upwards with force to remove it from the boot.

After removing it, we can insert the new gear knob or proceed with the maintenance of the gear itself and replace the boot if desired. To insert the new knob, we will need to push it inwards.
