In this tutorial, you will remove the worn gear knob. This operation is very simple.

Start by removing a plastic ring that holds the knob to its base. Use a thin object to create a small gap to slide off the entire knob.

Now, pull the knob upwards with force to detach it. To fit the new knob, ensure that the gear markings are in ascending order. Once verified, apply downward force to secure the knob in place.
