How to open the hood of a Mini Countryman

Model: Mini Mini R60, Countryman1 - Years 2010-2016
Part: Body

In this video, we will see how to open the front hood of a Mini Countryman R60, in order to have access to the oil cap, coolant, and windshield washer fluids. The car in the video has right-hand drive, so in this case we can see that the lever to open the hood is located on the passenger side, while for left-hand drive, it would obviously be located on the driver's side. We need to pull it towards us with some force, and we will hear a click, indicating that the latch has been released. We go to the front of the car and locate the safety release. We search for it with our fingers and lift it. The hood is on struts, so there is no need to insert a lifting rod.

How to Change the H7 Headlight Bulb on an Audi A3

When replacing the front headlight bulbs, choosing the right bulbs is certainly the first hurdle to overcome: halogen, blue white light, xenon, or LED. Once you have made your choice, installing the new bulb can be done without removing the headlight. Simply open the front bonnet, locate the protective cap of the bulb holder, and press on the corresponding latch to remove it. Then grasp the bulb's power connector and pull it out along with the bulb itself, disconnect the connector, fit the new bulb, and press it into its seat until it clicks into place.
