How to disassemble the window lifter mechanism of the Mini Cooper

Model: Mini Mini R53, R52, R50 - Years 2001-2007

In this guide, we will discover the instructions that will allow us to disassemble and replace the window regulator mechanism of the Mini Cooper. First, we open the front door of the vehicle and start disassembling and removing the door panel, unscrewing the fixing screws and disconnecting the handle cable; then we remove the plastic clips and disconnect the window regulator mechanism from the side window, as shown in the video. At this point, if necessary, we remove the window regulator motor, replacing the components with new ones if necessary; we reassemble the window regulator mechanism and finally the door panel!
