How to restore the oil light of the Mini Cooper

In the following article, we will see how to reset the oil light of the Mini Cooper after changing the oil and filter in case the light is not automatically reset by the ECU. To perform this operation, no tools are needed and the procedure takes less than 1 minute to complete. To carry out the following operation, first start the ignition, then press and hold the button on the dashboard for 5 seconds to access the service menu. After 5 seconds, the maintenance light will appear. Press and hold the button again until the word RESET? appears below the light. Release and press the button again while holding it down to reset. Wait for the reset procedure to finish, then release the button and restart the ignition. The procedure is now complete.
