Let's see how to initiate the regeneration of the DPF on the Mitsubishi Fuso/Canter. If the amber DPF warning light is flashing on the dashboard, it means that it is clogged and needs regeneration.

Stop in an area where there are no flammable materials (dry leaves will suffice). Under the steering wheel, on the left side of the dashboard, there is a specific button: it is the DPF switch; press it and hold it until you hear the engine change speed; you will notice it starts to rev faster to burn off the particles.

A timer will appear on the dashboard display indicating that forced regeneration has begun. In the video, it starts from 20 minutes.

During this time, do not turn off the engine or drive. Keep the vehicle idling for the entire necessary duration: when the timer reaches zero and the warning lights go out, you can drive off.
