How to Change the Battery on a Mitsubishi Lancer

If you need to replace the battery on this vehicle, you can find instructions on how to proceed in this description, along with helpful images from the video. After opening the bonnet, you will need to remove the air duct that runs directly above the battery on the left side of the engine bay. Use a spanner to remove the nuts securing the upper support plate. Then disconnect the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal. Remove the battery from the engine bay, position the new one, and then refit the support plate, reconnecting the positive terminal first and then the negative.
