Start by removing the upper screws from the brake fluid reservoir covers on both the right and left sides. Clean the inside of the caps if there is any oxidation caused by the aluminium reservoir coming into contact with the brake fluid. Use a syringe to remove the old fluid from the reservoir. Open the bleed valve on the caliper with a 10 mm spanner and connect a plastic bottle with a rubber hose at the end. Add new fluid to the reservoir, open the bleed valve on the caliper, and press the brake until the hose fills with fluid. Close the bleed valve and top up the fluid in the reservoir. Repeat the process for the rear brake.

How to Replace the Drive Belt of the Piaggio Vespa 50 ET2

Today, we will discover the instructions that will allow us to dismantle and replace the drive belt of the Piaggio Vespa 50 ET2. First, place the scooter on the stand and start unscrewing all the fixing screws found on the side of the transmission cover to remove it; then unscrew the screw of the fan and the variator, subsequently removing the drive belt, as shown in the video. At this point, install the new toothed belt, as well as the original one, correctly refitting the fan and finally the side cover of the transmission.
