How do you replace the rear brake shoes on the Piaggio Ciao?

The procedure for replacing the rear brake shoes on the Piaggio Ciao involves loosening the screws that secure the rear wheel to its respective swingarm, removing it completely. After the rear wheel has been removed from its housing, it will be possible to detach the drum from the wheel in order to locate the underlying brake shoes. These can then be released from their corresponding spring. Once the brake shoes have been detached, it will be possible to insert the new ones, securing them properly and ensuring that the rear brake functions correctly.
