Run the engine for several minutes before changing the oil: this will heat the lubricant in circulation and facilitate its subsequent leakage. Unscrew the 10 mm bolt placed under the engine compartment, using an Allen key, after having prepared a container in which you will collect the same. While this is happening, unscrew the oil filter and screw the one only after having lubricated the new o-r (even with used oil it is fine, the important thing is that it is lubricated). Measure the quantity of oil released and load the same measure of 10W-60 new oil. The oil filter is instead an H554.

How to change the engine oil of Suzuki RM-Z450?

In order to replace the engine oil of the Suzuki RM-Z450 you have to loosen the screws that secure the skid plate positioned in the lower part of the bike; once this has been removed, it will be possible to go and unscrew the oil drain plug located in the part previously covered by the plate. Therefore all the used oil must be collected in a suitably positioned container; when all the oil has run out, the oil filter can be removed and replaced. Then you will have to top up by inserting the new oil from the vent on the crankcase on the left of the bike.
