How to Reset the Service Light on a Nissan Qashqai

To reset the service light on a first-generation Nissan Qashqai, sit in the driver's seat and insert the key into the ignition. Turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine. Use the button on the instrument panel to scroll through the onboard computer information until the maintenance or service interval menu appears. When the option is displayed, press and hold the same button for a few seconds until the maintenance counter is reset. The display will show the new service interval set. Then, turn off the instrument panel, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on to verify that the maintenance light has indeed been reset.
