How to Lower the Rear Seats in a Nissan Qashqai

To lower the rear seats in a Nissan Qashqai, open the rear doors or the boot, and if necessary, slightly move the front seats forward to create enough space. Remove any items on the seat or backrest and locate the release levers or handles at the top of the backrest or inside the boot, depending on the version. Operate the corresponding control and guide the backrest forward until it rests on the seat. If the vehicle has a split backrest, you can recline the two sections separately to increase the load capacity while keeping one of the rear seats available. To return the seats to their upright position, simply lift the backrests until you hear the locking mechanism click and ensure they are securely fastened.
