Need to change the brake pads on a Nissan Qashqai? Here’s how to replace the parts on the rear brakes. Lift the car on a column lift (jack) to the desired height, then remove the wheel (using a socket spanner or air drill) along with the respective bolts. Unscrew the locking pin of the brake caliper and remove it from the wheel support. Use a screwdriver to detach the pads from the brake caliper. Fit the new pads onto the brake caliper; reattach the brake caliper with the support onto the brake disc. Refit the wheel and tighten the securing bolts.
