How to Change the Brake Pads

In this video, you will learn how to change the front brake pads. First, unscrew the bolts securing the caliper. Using a flat screwdriver, pry between the disc and the pads to release them. One pad is located at the front of the disc, the other behind it. As shown in the video, at a certain point, you will need to close the caliper and push inside to ensure the pad support inside the caliper returns to its standard position. Use compressed air to clean the entire braking system, removing dust and rust from the components. Now apply specific oil between the new pads and their respective supports before joining them. Insert the two pads with their supports into their respective slots on either side of the disc. Refit the caliper by screwing in the bolts, and the job is complete.
