How to Reset the Oil Light in a Nissan Micra

If you are experiencing issues with the engine oil warning light, do not worry as you can easily reset it in a few minutes without needing to consult a professional. First, ensure the car is off. Then, press the brake pedal and simultaneously turn the key to position 3. Next, locate the small "Trip" button just below the rev counter and press it until "Trip A" appears on the mini display of the onboard computer. After that, switch off the car and repeat the same procedure. Press the brake pedal and turn the key to position 3. Now, hold down the button located under the speedometer. As soon as the display starts to flash, release the button and press "Trip" once. The reset is complete, and you can now switch off the ignition.
