To replace the key fob battery in the Nissan Qashqai, follow these steps: Purchase the correct battery: Check the type of battery required for your Nissan Qashqai key fob. It is usually a CR2032 lithium button battery or a similar battery. Ensure you buy a battery with the same specifications.

Open the key fob: Use a thin tool, such as a small flathead screwdriver, to open the key fob shell. Find the slot or gap at the bottom of the key fob and gently pry it apart to separate the two halves of the shell.

Remove the old battery: Once the shell is open, you will see the battery housed inside. You will notice a metal tab or a small holder that keeps the battery in place.

Using your fingers or a thin tool, lift the tab or remove the holder to extract the old battery. Insert the new battery: Take the new battery and place it correctly inside the battery compartment of the key fob. Ensure that the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals of the battery align with the corresponding contacts in the key fob. Close the key fob: After replacing the battery, position the two halves of the key fob shell together and press them until they snap securely.

Ensure the parts align and that the key fob is closed tightly.
