To replace the remote battery of the Fiat 500 Electric, remove the cover from the back of the car to access the emergency key underneath. Once the key is removed, detach the plastic cover that protects the battery. The battery can now be extracted from its housing using a tool like a screwdriver; the new battery can then be inserted into its housing, allowing all the other removed components to be reinstalled.
