What does error code 22 indicate on an Opel Astra J vehicle?

Error code 22 appears on the display of the instrument panel of an Opel Astra model J vehicle when the right front headlight bulb is malfunctioning. The causes of the malfunction can be three: the bulb is discharged, the connector is damaged, or the related fuse is blown. The first thing to do is to check the status of the fuse, if the fuse is not defective, check the status of the connector. If the connector also does not have any problems, replace the headlight bulb. Once replaced, the problem will be solved and the error code will reset automatically.
