We can see in this video how to change the rear shock absorbers on the Opel Zafira A: we start by removing the rear wheels and lifting the car, then we clean the shock absorber mounting elements with a metal brush and WD-40. We will need to support the rear crossmember to facilitate the disassembly of the shock absorber, both on the bottom and top. We can find the replacement parts for example on auto-doc. It with the code 854S1548 at a price of 19.48 each + 9.95 euros for delivery. Before assembly, the shock absorber must be manually bled 4/5 times, then we clean the mounting seats and proceed to connect the fixing bolts: the lower bolt must be tightened to 74Nm, while the upper one to 70Nm. Lower the car without jerking and remount the tires, then we can put it back on the ground.
