On this Opel Antara, the check engine light is flashing, the engine shuts off abruptly and irregularly, making an unusual noise. Therefore, the air flow sensor (the mass air flow sensor) is suspected. The video shows us the specific error code for the component (P02E4/P122D) and the code for the component itself, which we can easily find on Amazon under the code B01NBOICHC for the price of €133.52 with free delivery in 10 days. The mass air flow sensor is located on the right side of the engine, in a difficult position. To replace it, it is necessary to disconnect an incoming air hose, which has a securing ring: to loosen this ring, you need to work from underneath the car with a large flat screwdriver, prying it sideways. We then remove some other components (not specified in detail in the video) to access the sensor. Next, we unscrew the 4 bolts that secure the mass air flow sensor housing.
