How to open the engine compartment to top up the fluid on Opel Crossland X? Do maintenance yourself to save on labor costs. We pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then, slightly raise the bonnet and pull the release lever to the left. Once the engine hood is unlocked: lift it up and secure it with the locking rod. Now that we have opened the bonnet we can do our maintenance. To close the hood again: remove the safety rod and drop the hood downwards from a minimum height. Let us be sure of the due closure of the same.

How do you open the fuel flap of the Volkswagen Golf 5?
