How to Reset the Tyre Pressure Warning Light on the Opel Zafira Life?

On the Opel Zafira Life (2019-2024), the TPMS is of the indirect type: there are no sensors in the valves, but the control unit measures the rotation speed of the wheels to detect pressure drops. When the warning light comes on, check and inflate all four tyres to the correct cold pressure (the values are on the label on the driver's door sill).

Then, with the car stationary and the handbrake engaged, start the initialisation from the vehicle menu. The exact procedure varies depending on the multimedia system: with infotainment (radio with navigation), press the button with the car symbol (to the left of the radio), scroll to the "Tyre Pressure Initialisation" option, and confirm with OK; with radio without navigation: press the button with the tyre symbol on the bar below the radio.

On models from 2024 onwards (Zafira Life Electric): the initialisation starts from the vehicle customisation in the display menu. After confirmation, a popup message appears.

The system calibrates automatically while driving: after some distance, it stores the new reference values and the warning light turns off.
