In this short guide, we will see the instructions that will allow us to disassemble and eventually replace the engine control unit of the Opel Astra 1.7. First, we open the hood of the car and begin to locate the engine control unit, located at the bottom (under the intake ducts and next to the distribution); then we unscrew the fixing screws found on the side of the control unit, disconnecting the electrical connector to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, we carry out the repair or replacement of the engine control unit, reassembling everything!
