Where is the engine control unit located in the Opel Astra?

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra H - Years 2004-2010

In this video, you can see where the control unit is located in the Opel Astra, useful in case you need to replace it due to a fault. As shown, the control unit is positioned at the top of the engine, right at the back, and is easily recognisable by its shape. To remove it, simply disconnect the large connector by releasing the clip, then unscrew the four securing bolts located at the corners. To fit the replacement, follow the reverse procedure. Ensure the vehicle is turned off and the key is removed.
