Replacing Brake Pads on Opel Vivaro

Need to remove the damaged front disc brake pads on an Opel Vivaro? Here’s how to do it. Position the vehicle on a column lift and raise it to a comfortable height for disassembly. Unscrew the wheel bolts with a socket spanner. Unscrew the bolts of the brake caliper; detach it from above the disc. Use a screwdriver to detach the brake pads from the caliper. Fit the new brake pads with all the associated bolts, tighten the caliper support to the disc, then, refit the brake caliper and screw it in place. Bleed the brake caliper and top up if necessary. Refit the wheel and screw in the bolts.
