Let's see the disassembly of the knob of an Opel Corsa. We replace the knob if damaged together with the cover cap. We unlock the frame of the headset and lift it upwards. We release the plastic around the knob, rotate it to the left and right until it is removed from the shift rod. We assemble the new leather cap with the clips (if disassembled), then, take the new knob and insert it into the rod on the central tunnel until it is tightened in the rod. Finally, we test the correct assembly of the knob with the movement of the rod on the central tunnel. At the end of the test we block the headset that covers the gearbox.
