To replace the timing chain on the Opel Corsa D 1.3 MultiJet, open the bonnet to access the engine bay. At this point, it will be necessary to remove the plastic covers on the side of the engine to access the sprockets. Here, unscrew the bolts securing the chain tensioner to relieve the tension on the chain itself. This will allow you to remove it and replace it with a new spare part. The new chain must be inserted into the appropriate sprockets and tensioned by installing the tensioner and all previously removed parts.
