How to Remove the Internal Rear View Mirror from the Opel Corsa D

This guide shows how to remove the internal rear view mirror from the Opel Corsa D. The first step is to push the base of the mirror forward towards the front of the car. Using a trim removal tool, lower the plastic cover of the mirror's pedestal to expose the metal clip of the mirror. Lower this tab with the same tool and push the piece to be replaced fully forward until it comes out of the guides. The reassembly procedure is straightforward as you need to reposition the base of the mirror in the guide and push it into place. Refit the cover plastic.
