How to Replace the Gear Knob on the Opel Corsa D?

To replace the gear knob on the Opel Corsa D, detach the securing clips that hold the leather gaiter of the gear lever in place. Once these are released, you can fully lift the gear gaiter: immediately beneath the knob, you will see a plunger. Push it upwards to completely detach the knob and the gaiter from the top of the gear lever, allowing you to fit a new one. After inserting the new knob, secure the leather gaiter to the base of its housing.
