The Opel/Vauxhall Corsa does not have a coolant temperature gauge. In this video, see how to check the temperature - it definitely works on the D version, but it is likely applicable to others as well - in a very simple way. Locate the button/dial on the right side of the display: it is the button that resets the trip data, but also accesses a secret menu.

Press it four times and then hold it down. This will give you access to the secret menu.

Now press it five times, and that shows the temperature. It is annoying because it is not permanent, and you must repeat this entire procedure each time.
