Reason for the oil warning light on a Peugeot 108

In this video we see the reason why the oil light came on in this Peugeot 108: it is a 108, but it could be any car that has a wet belt. The belt has deteriorated inside the lubricating fluid, and small fragments of it have accumulated at the bottom of the oil filter grate: we can see them because the youtuber removes them by simply pulling out the sludge that has formed with a finger. And it is already a good thing that the filter screen has not broken, which often happens in this case. All that remains is to change the belt, oil, filter and hope that there have been no other damages to the engine. These wet belts need to be carefully monitored to avoid these problems.
