The air conditioning pressure sensor, also known as a pressure switch, is a fundamental component in the air conditioning system of our Peugeot 108: it measures the pressure of the refrigerant inside the air conditioning circuit. This is essential monitoring to ensure that the system operates safely and efficiently. It also detects the refrigerant pressure, and if the pressure is abnormal, the sensor can deactivate the compressor to prevent damage. Inside the engine compartment of the Peugeot 108, we find it behind the engine block, in a clearly visible position at the end of the windshield wiper shaft.
