Today we will explain in a few simple steps how to replace the gear knob of the Peugeot 207. By applying pressure outwards, we renew the base of our gear lever and after lifting the gear lever gaiter, we remove the clamp at the base, in order to remove both the gaiter and the knob. We insert the new gaiter into the plastic base of the gear lever and insert it into the mechanism. We insert the knob into the gear lever and attach the gaiter and the knob using a new metal clamp. We conclude the replacement by testing the operation of the gear lever by shifting gears.
