Before you begin, sit in the driver's seat of your Peugeot 207. Start by unhooking and lifting the lower section of the gear lever gaiter. Then, grasp the gear knob and pull it firmly upwards.

This will free the gear knob itself. Next, remove the gaiter from the gear lever, completing the disassembly.

To fit the new gear knob, follow this procedure in reverse, and you will have successfully completed the replacement.
