How to reset the service indicator on a Peugeot 2008 DIY.

On your Peugeot 2008, the oil/service duration reset is performed from the instrument panel using the trip odometer reset button (Trip/0). With the vehicle stationary and secure, turn off the ignition and locate the Trip reset button: on some versions, it is a small button on the instrument panel, while on others, it is a command on the steering column/levers. Press and hold the Trip reset button, and without starting the engine, turn the ignition to ON. If the vehicle has a START/STOP button, activate the ignition without pressing the brake pedal. Continue to hold the button until the procedure is completed and the maintenance indicator is reset. At that point, release the button, turn off the ignition, and turn it back on to verify that the Service/oil duration warning no longer appears.
