Is the gear knob on your Peugeot 206 damaged? Let’s see how to remove it from the top of the centre console. Use a plastic lever to disconnect the leather gaiter frame. Take the knob in your hands and rotate it left and right until you can remove it from the gear stick (cut the plastic tie). For reassembly, take the new knob and slide it onto the stick on the centre console, tightening it onto the stick. Fit the new leather gaiter with the clips. Check that all parts of the knob are fitted correctly. Ensure the clips of the gaiter frame are properly secured.
