How to Remove the Rear Suspension Arm on a Peugeot 206

This guide shows how to remove the rear suspension arm on a Peugeot 206. First, lift the rear of the vehicle and remove the tyres. At this point, you need to unscrew the 13 mm bolt and the T40 screw from the base of the arm on the opposite side to where you are working, in order to remove the metal plate. On the side you are working on, using a 21 mm spanner to hold it in place and another 21 mm spanner, unscrew the fixing bolt and remove the shock absorber arm. Disconnect the handbrake cable and the ABS cable. Remove the hub cover and properly bend the safety washer. Unscrew the bolt with a 32 mm spanner. Remove the drum cover and take out the 4 T50 fixing bolts and remove the brake mechanism. Unscrew the 13 mm bolt on the iron cover at the top of the arm. Remove the trailing arm and remove the torsion bar bolt. At this point, you can remove the suspension arm. You can also replace the spherical bearings of the arm before reassembling it.
