Your car key is one of the most used components during the day and for this reason it wears out quite quickly. This mainly concerns the external part of the key and it is therefore necessary to replace it with a brand new one. To do this, it takes only a few minutes. Make sure you have a new, perfectly compatible case available. First unscrew the back cover. Then, using a flat screwdriver, remove the entire plastic rear part by using a light lever. At this point remove, very gently and carefully, the battery and the electronic system present. Take the new case and insert it in the correct position. Do the same thing with the drums too. Insert the back of the cover and close the entire key.

How to reset the on-board computer of the Peugeot 208?

Resetting the Peugeot 208's on-board computer, the system called SMEG, is very simple. We can do this in case the system shows signs of malfunction, freezes, or in any other case where a restart could solve the problem. To reboot, simply hold down the two keys located in the lower left corner of the computer at the same time. After a few seconds, the SMEG system display will switch off, the Peugeot logo will appear and the start-up procedure will start. We wait patiently for the restart to complete as it may take some time.
