How to Change the Remote Battery on a Peugeot 3008

Model: Peugeot 3008 T84, MK 1 - Years 2009-2016

To change the battery in the remote, start by pressing the button on the bottom of the remote to extract the key. Use a plastic wedge to pry open one side of the remote cover where the buttons are not located. With a small flathead screwdriver, lift the battery out. Take the new battery out of its packaging, insert it into its slot with the + side facing up, then take the cover and reposition it over the battery. Finally, take the key and reinsert it into its housing in the remote, and test the new battery.
