How to Start a Peugeot Car with a Flat Remote Battery

Here’s how to start a Peugeot car even with a flat remote: open the door with the emergency mechanical key. Remove the cover by pressing the small button on the side of the remote. With the emergency key, insert it into the physical lock located under a cover on the driver’s side handle. Once inside the cabin, find the recess that matches the shape of the remote, and hold the remote - even with a flat battery - close to that recess while pressing the start button. The car will still start because the detector reads the passive chip in the remote. Remember to change the button battery as soon as possible. It is a CR2032.
