Instructions for Removing the Exhaust Silencer

Model: Peugeot 206 MK 1 - Years 1998-2012

It is recommended to carry out this removal with the engine cold to avoid unpleasant burns. Once the vehicle is positioned on a lift, equip yourself with a 16 mm spanner and a couple of screwdrivers. Disconnect the rubber mounts of the rear silencer and unscrew the bolt of the clamp securing the silencer to the exhaust pipe. Widen the clamp using the screwdrivers and separate the silencer from the exhaust pipe. To complete the removal of the entire exhaust pipe, simply disconnect the front flange connecting it to the manifold.
