As you can see in this short tutorial, replacing the gear knob on a Peugeot 208 is an extremely simple and quick operation. To do this, firmly grip the old knob, using a large pair of pliers and a cloth if necessary, rotate it in both directions and pull it upwards simultaneously. Once removed, place the appropriate plastic spacer on the shaft and forcefully insert the new knob, rotating it in both directions. Ensure that the new knob is perfectly aligned with the direction of travel.
