We connect the negative pole of the battery to the positive pole in order to completely reset the system. It may seem absurd, but it worked. However, the video lacks one detail. We need to turn the key to the ignition position and let the throttle move. It takes about 30 to 40 seconds. Afterwards, start the car normally without accelerating. Wait for the fan to start three times. And it will be ready for normal adjustment without using a scanner.

How to reset the on-board computer of the Peugeot 208?

Resetting the Peugeot 208's on-board computer, the system called SMEG, is very simple. We can do this in case the system shows signs of malfunction, freezes, or in any other case where a restart could solve the problem. To reboot, simply hold down the two keys located in the lower left corner of the computer at the same time. After a few seconds, the SMEG system display will switch off, the Peugeot logo will appear and the start-up procedure will start.
